Over the years we have gathered a reasonable amount of experience in handling commissions and ensuring that a well fulfilling delivery is made.
It is also important for us to maintain a good interaction flow between clients and the artist especially while the project is ongoing.
While commissioning art a few key things needs to be resolved in the planning which includes; allowing the artist enough time to work and deliver the project within the reasonably agreed amount of time and client’s financial budget.
As a client, you are often given the opportunity to be carried along so you can monitor the progresses of the project at each phase. This is done to ensure that the project is well finished to your expected taste.

Commission Process
- If you’re not sure of the portrait size you want, we discuss your requirements via email, over a phone or video call if you may (approximately 5-11 minutes).
- Then you send us very good quality photos as reference materials.
- We proceed to give you an exact quote which is further stipulated in the contract agreement made between yourselves and Simon, we also then take a deposit. Balance due upon completion. We accept payment via BANK TRANSFER.
- Portraits usually take around 6 weeks or much less to complete, depending on the size and detail.
- We send photos and videos of each phase of the project to ensure we exceed your expectations.
- You also can have phone calls with the artist at any time during the process should need be.
- You are very free at this point to make observation on any adjustments such as hair or skin color.
- A very high resolution photos and video sent of final portrait for you to approve and sign off
- Balance payment is made only when you are fully happy and satisfied.
- The portrait is rolled in a cardboard or plastic tube to ensure max protection and shipped by a courier service to your home after the painting has dried (Maximum shipping delivery is 3 days outside the Netherlands).
- Emotional tears of joy are not unusual in reaction when the portrait arrives your home.
- The artist is always available to take new commissions as you may love the portrait so much that you love to order another to hang on other parts of your wall or second home.
- We do appreciate getting a photo from you of the portrait hanging on your wall.
